AFTER SALES SERVICES
First Year All Included
TIER 1 PRODUCTS SUPPLY
Aces Africa offer only the latest TIER 1 products from reputable world wide solar suppliers that can provide 10-25 year warranty
Typical chosen equipment includes:-
DATA ANALYSIS AND TARIFF SWAPS (COCT)
Aces provide a service to secure your kWh consumption patterns over a period and analyse this compared to the PV production. This enables us to determine the following (1) An accurate PV sized system that is the most efficient for your purposes, (2) Any over production and feedback from the municipality, (3) The times of your PEAK DEMAND and where the PV will impact and (4) The most efficient tariff structure between LPU / TOU / SPU. The final outcome being a financial model that our clients can rely upon.
This data modelling can be material both without solar and more importantly when dovetailed with solar .
Aces Africa provides the above data modelling EITHER as a FREE OF CHARGE service to our clients that obtain their solar system from us, for those that prefer not to go solar with ACES and / or use this service and secure elswhere we offer any savings obtained due to our consulting on a 36 MONTH SHARED SAVINGS agreement. Both parties benefit from the tariff swap savings over 36 months..
Our supply of data loggers, or obtaining data directly is a key component in the above
We pride ourselves on being able to provide our clients with a world-class, professional, and comprehensive energy-efficient and sustainable solution. We as a client-driven organisation focus on building successful, long-lasting, and positive relationships with our clients and partners.
ACES Africa strives to be a recognised leader on the continent in Green Engineering Solutions specifically in Building Integrated Photovoltaic and PV solutions for Commercial, Industrial and Retail Properties in Africa.
PEACE OF MIND WARRANTY
10 year inverter warranty
25 year panel performance warranty
ROOF CLEANING SERVICES
Solar panels work by allowing light into the solar cells. The more light that hits a panel, the more power it will generate. Due to the upwards angle of solar panels, they are more prone to bird droppings and a build-up of general dust and dirt that does not wash off with just rain. This reduces the amount of light hitting the panel and reduces its output.
As the projected energy figures claimed by solar panel manufacturers and installers are based on the optimum performance of clean solar panels, this build-up of dirt can adversely affect the panel’s ability to meet those projections.
So it is important to clean solar panels in order to protect and maintain your investment. Regular solar panel cleaning will also help you to make the most on your investment.
POWER FACTOR CORRECTION
In an electric power system, a load with a low power factor draws more current than a load with a high power factor for the same amount of useful power transferred. The higher currents increase the energy lost in the distribution system, and require larger wires and other equipment. Because of the costs of larger equipment and wasted energy, electrical utilities will usually charge a higher cost to industrial or commercial customers where there is a low power factor.
In electrical engineering, the power factor of an AC electrical power system is defined as the ratio of the real power flowing to the load to the apparent power in the circuit, and is a dimensionless number in the closed interval of −1 to 1. A power factor of less than one means that the voltage and current waveforms are not in phase, reducing the instantaneous product of the two waveforms (V × I). Real power is the capacity of the circuit for performing work in a particular time. Apparent power is the product of the current and voltage of the circuit. Due to energy stored in the load and returned to the source, or due to a non-linear load that distorts the wave shape of the current drawn from the source, the apparent power will be greater than the real power. A negative power factor occurs when the device (which is normally the load) generates power, which then flows back towards the source, which is normally considered the generator.
We provide energy efficient lighting solutions, using both induction and LED technologies. Our philosophy is based on adhering to the principles of
- Guaranteed quality
- Calculable light output using simulation software.
- Guaranteed long life products.

INTEGRATION SOLAR POWER
Solar hybrid systems are power systems that combine solar power from a photovoltaic system with another energy source. One of the most common hybrid systems being PV diesel hybrid system, coupling PV and diesel generators, also known as diesel gensets. The diesel generators are used to steadily fill in the gap between the load and the power generated by the PV system. Battery storages can be used to enhance the overall system performance to ensure that the amount of energy meets the demand. An energy management system can also be included to optimize the system as the diesel gensets capacity is limited and the solar energy production is inconsistent.
What are the advantages of a solar diesel hybrid system?
There are multiples benefits to solar-diesel hybrid system.
Increased PV penetration
Voltage can be driven to unacceptable volatility or out-of-range values by PV solar systems, eOS solutions can be used to to support the integration of distributed PV solar on their grids.
No wasted Energy:
With the right equipment, the energy generated during the day is not wasted or fed back into the grid. It can be stored and used whenever needed.
When the grid fails or when the PV production isn’t enough the system still keep going.
Hybrid Systems can be programmed:
With the help of a EMS like the ePowerControl, hybrid systems can computer control their whole system and balance the available sources of energy. Elum Energy’s engineer can provide a custom control and monitoring solution giving more reliability and more savings as it reduce operating and maintenance cost in the long term.
The use of sustainable resources reduces CO² emissions.
